Illallinen Our Placella

The recipe for the Lemon Olive Oil Cake turned out perfectly moist and flavorful on my first try. I also love how each dish comes with a little story from a home cook, which makes the book feel personal and inspiring rather than just a list of instructions.

I’ve already made three of the recipes and each one felt surprisingly doable for a weeknight. The way Shiza’s tips are woven in really helped me avoid rookie mistakes.

The stories from Our Place community sprinkled between the recipes make this feel more personal than a typical cookbook. I’ve already cooked three dishes and they’re exactly the kind of simple, comforting dinners I was hoping for.
